Ok, so I had a minor surgery that resulted in me being unable to go to work for a few weeks. However, laying in bed moaning isn't a very healthy way to recover either, and the doc said I had to try to be gently active. So in the interest of faking feeling human, I decided to do some very light repairs to Wee Beastie II, my 2015 Jeep Patriot; specifically, replacing the coil packs and spark plugs. Happily, on the Chrysler 2.4L they are conveniently located directly on the top of the engine! Hopefully this will cure my recurring P0420 fault code.
Nevertheless, the repair took two sessions in the shop, it would seem I wasn't bothered to comb my hair, AND I couldn't test them for a week, as I didn't leave my property for nine days following the surgery!
