I Bought A Neglected C6 Corvette to Turn Into a Racecar!

Wait, that’s not a Jeep?! I added a 2007 C6 corvette to the driveway!
I bought a C6 Corvette for a couple of different reasons….
I want to build a race car! A car I can modify however I want and take out to the drag strip. This 2007 C6 Corvette allows me to do that!! Lots of issues to work through on this car… from Engine to Drivetrain, I’m looking forward to doing it all.
I enjoyed the LS Swap on my Jeep Wrangler so much, I don’t want to stop working and learning on the LS platform. There is a lot of work to be done on this 6.0 LS2 Engine; tear down and rebuild, cam swap, add a turbo (or 2), the limit does not exist.

We were able to get the C6 at a really good price due to all of the issues with it. Knowing that the plan is to build it, means that a lot of the small issues weren’t really a worry for us.
This will not be a daily driver, so it is a perfect platform for the build. Sometimes it’s nice to start with a cheaper platform to build on, it takes away some of the stress of breaking or spending more money on a nice clean car. Luckily the car has a clean title, and doesn’t need a full rebuild. But there are quite a few mechanical things that need addressed before we can even take it out for a few pre build test passes at the drag strip.

Jeep content will not stop.. I actually have a handful of really big projects on the way! This build is just something to do for fun, and learn alot along the way.
