The N7 is a stellar locomotive, and Oxford Rails did an outstanding job capturing its essence in model-form. I have had my eye on these since they were released several years ago, but had been holding out for a sound fitted one (especially as a factory sound fitted locomotive of this caliber, it's easily one the best "value for money" out there right now).
I can't say enough good things about the locomotive, and others have covered this model in detail elsewhere. Suffice to reiterate, it's a very heavy and well-built model, the mechanism is sound, the paintwork and detailing is very nice, and the locomotive has charm for days. The factory fitted sound decoder is very nice as well, great selections and soundscape design, with lots of functions to play with. I'll go so far as to say I like Oxford Rails' sound selections better than any "aftermarket" decoders I have heard fitted to one of these.
I had very little to do to the model, aside from adding the detail packs, a bit of color detailing at the Westinghouse pump, and coaling the tender (I was looking for anything this model might need!).
