The question of personhood is incredibly important within philosophy, and especially when it comes to ethics. Even if we have formulated an excellent normative theory of morality, before we can truly put it into practice we must figure out who is morally responsible for his/her actions and who we have moral responsibility towards. This is the question of personhood. In this episode I will go through Harry G. Frankfurt's theory of personhood from his paper: Freedom of will and concept of a person.
