How to Crochet a mini Mushroom 🍄 EASY BEGINNER

Don’t let those little yarn scraps go to waste, crochet them into an adorable mushroom! In this tutorial, I’ll show you a fast, simple pattern that’s perfect for beginners or anyone who wants a quick, satisfying project.

Materials I used, but you can use any yarn you have available:
Sport/baby weight yarn (2) in red and white
3mm crochet hook
Yarn needle & scissors
Toy stuffing or even smaller yarn scraps for stuffing

Row 1: ch6, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in next 2 chs, 1hdc in last 2 chs - (5) ch1, turn
Row 2: 1hdc in first 2 sts, 1sc in next 2 sts, sl st in last st - (5) ch1, turn
Row 3: sl st in first st, 1sc in next 2 sts, 1hdc in last 2 sts - (5) ch1, turn
Rows 4-9: rep rows 2 and 3
Fasten off, fold in half and sew to opposite side, sew top hole closed.

Bottom
Rnd 1: 7sc in 4ch loop or magic ring - (7)
Rnd 2: 1sc, 2sc rep to last st, 1sc - (10)
Rnds 3-4: 1sc around - (10)
Rnd 5: 1sc, sc2tog rep to last st, 1sc - (7)
Rnds 6-7: 1sc around - (7) stuff
Fasten off and sew into top, using ends to form white spots.
