Kitimat January 2023, Alcan docks and LNG progress update

In January 2023, as the sun sets in Kitimat Harbour, a bustling scene unfolds. More modules have arrived for the LNG Canada plant, including the most notable addition, a flare stack carefully dismantled into pieces and now ready to be offloaded by the heavy lift ship. The progress on the plant-to-wharf pipeline is remarkable, with workers making significant headway. As this happens, nearby docks are abuzz with activity as raw materials for aluminum production are being expertly offloaded. It's a remarkable sight to behold, showcasing the impressive level of industry and innovation that is driving the region forward.
