The Western Territory at Snowshoe bike park is a network of downhill orientated trails featuring an over 1500' vertical descent serviced by the western express high speed detachable chair lift. It is where UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) host a world championship downhill mountain bike race each year and has some well known features/trails such as the Cupp cake (cupcake) Gap, Skyline jump trail, Big ash jump trail, Pro DH, and many more! Sadly Upper and lower Hareball were closed during our visit in preparation for the 2022 race, but that leaves a very good reason to return to the amazing resort!
