A short film featuring Delaine buses which contains some new footage from Peterborough and compliation of the best of the heritage fleet out and about taken from some of my other films.
The company whose origins can be traced back to 1890 have a fine reputation for reliabilty and service across Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Rutland.
They are based in Bourne and usually hold regular open days at their depot and a heritage open day in September. Their buses often attend other rallies and this is where they can be seen in the film at Quorn, Lincoln, Whittlesey, Stamford and Essendine. Some of the current Wright Volvos buses are to be seen at Peterborough.
At the end of the film two buses 5 OCT No. 128 in the Delaine Fleet a Volvo Olympian from 1998 and P2 OTL a 1996 Volvo B10M which was allocated fleet No. 122. These are now preserved in the ownership of Eastern Bus Enthusiasts.
