Good projector screens can cost $500 or more. I will show you how you can build your own DIY Projection Screen for under $50, with a little bit of ingenuity.
The projection area is created with multiple coats of bright white paint (or silver screen color if using an LCD projector), surrounded by trim wrapped in black velvet. If the paint is applied correctly to a smooth surface, it will perfectly resembles a movie screen when you project video onto it.
This DIY Projection screen has a projection area of nearly 50 sq ft, and it costs less than the price of a 50 inch tv! You will be pleasantly surprised at how appealing and cinema-like the experience of watching a movie on this “screen” will be.
