We encounter folks who say, "You know it's not me. I'm not good with creating wealth. I'm not a business man." Very often people who say that deep down in their hearts believe that there's something wrong with creating wealth. And deep down in their hearts they believe they're painting themselves in a favorable light by saying, "Yeah, I don't care too much about it. I don't know about things like that."

It used to be very common in the elitist days of the British Empire, where folks in England used to look down on so called self-made men. People who were part of the aristocracy living off inheritances were somehow viewed as superior to people who through hard work, built themselves up into becoming part of the upper class. They were always looked down upon, and not surprisingly, as a result, the British Empire faded away and poverty struck the British Isles and they still haven't come out of it.

It's a massive problem and I try and help people deal with this by saying, you may not be a money person. You may not be a numbers person, but I'm not asking you to become a ballerina, to which you might rightly say, 'Yeah I just don't have the body for it.' But what I'm talking about is creating wealth as a beautiful thing. Creating wealth is learning how to interact positively with other human beings, finding a way to serve other human beings. Why wouldn't you want to do that? And we can teach you.
