ಇದು ರಾಮನಗರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಚನ್ನಪಟ್ಟಣ ತಾಲೂಕಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಬೆಟ್ಟ ಮತ್ತು ಗುಹಾಂತರ ದೇವಾಲಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಚಾರಣಿಗರಿಗೆ (Trekkers) ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಪ್ರೇಮಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಇದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ನೆಚ್ಚಿನ ತಾಣ.

ಲಿಂಗರೂಪಿ ರಂಗನಾಥ: ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ರಂಗನಾಥ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯು ಮಲಗಿರುವ ಭಂಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ (ಶಯನ ಮುದ್ರೆ), ಆದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯು ಲಿಂಗ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂಜಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಇದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅಪರೂಪದ ಸಂಗತಿ.
ಗುಹಾಂತರ ದೇವಾಲಯ (Cave Temple): ಹೆಸರೇ ಸೂಚಿಸುವಂತೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಗರ್ಭಗುಡಿಯು ಒಂದು ಸ್ವಾಭಾವಿಕ ಗುಹೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಭಕ್ತರು ಬಗ್ಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಗುಹೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ದರ್ಶನ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು.
ಇತಿಹಾಸ: ಇದು ಸುಮಾರು 1600 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಳೆಯ ದೇವಾಲಯ ಎಂದು ನಂಬಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಋಷ್ಯಶೃಂಗ ಮುನಿಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ತಪಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು ಎಂಬ ಪುರಾಣ ಕಥೆಯಿದೆ.

Exact Spot: It is situated in Vitalenahalli (near Haniyuru), between the towns of Channapatna and Kanakapura.

Distance from Bengaluru: Approximately 70–85 km (about a 2 to 2.5-hour drive).

The Route: * Via Channapatna: Follow the Bengaluru–Mysuru highway, turn left at Channapatna toward Singarajapura. This is generally considered the easier route.

Via Kanakapura: Take the Kanakapura road through Sathanuru.
