A last-minute day trip to the annual Midwest Old Threshers Reunion in Mt. Pleasant, IA. The Midwest Central Railroad was kept busy with both Surry, Sussex & Southampton 2-6-0 No. 6 and West Coast Lumber Co 3-truck Shay no. 9, which is making its first runs since 2021. Dozens of steam traction engines and gasoline tractors strutting their stuff as well.
