This week, my YouTube channel will hit 50 million lifetime views. This is absolutely miraculous to me. I'm sincerely humbled, honored, and amazed at how God is using this simple piano music to bless millions.

The amazing thing about that original video from 2017, is God's timing of it. Two weeks after my recording went viral, I lost my job. I had been teaching at a music college in St. Paul, MN for almost ten years, when the school unexpectedly shut down. It was heartbreaking for me personally, but I was also so heartbroken for my students. It was a crushing event for everyone. But I knew God is with us on the mountaintops and in the valleys.

While one door was closing, God was immediately opening another door.

Even before I knew I needed it.

I'm astonished at how the last three years have flown by. Tens of thousands of subscribers, millions of views....it's hard to wrap my head around.

The thing that resonates with me the most is the personal stories. I read so many comments from individual people who are receiving answers to their prayers, or from people who are leaning on loving Christian community during times of need.

I've read stories of how my music was being played while fussy babies were finally soothed. Or how my music was in the background while a loved one took a final breath before meeting Jesus face to face. It makes me tear up while I type this.

Thank you for being a part of this community. A part of this family. I'm honored, more than you know, that this music plays a small part of your life. Every single stream, every person, is a blessing to me and a reminder of how God is always with us.

Thank you for your love and encouragement. I pray you feel loved and encouraged today.
