The ULTIMATE Jeep Cherokee build starts here with the "pristine" 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ that you can find in my previous video. This is my second Jeep Cherokee XJ in the fleet now. This Jeep will end up being a very capable four wheel drive "prerunner" and a fairly capable rock crawler.
This new Jeep will get "LS swapped" with a 6.0L Chevy V8 motor and axle swapped with a Ford 9 Inch rear axle and Ford Dana 44 front axle. It will get 4-linked front and rear with Fox coilovers, Fox and King bypasses, and King bumpstops on all four corners to be "long travel".
I will be building a custom roll cage for it with my JD Squared Model 4 tube bender and doing all the fabrication myself while documenting the build.
It will be a high-speed desert rig that is also 4WD and I decided to try to do that with a solid front axle.
