This is a tour of my offgrid setup in the Philippines. I am offgrid, but I do use the grid as my backup power source. I don't have a generator. If we get extended days of no sun, I flip the grid on to charge up to 80% and then flip it back off. Here, keeping the grid connection costs only 5 bucks a month.
