Lesson:110, Which Season is best (कौन सी ऋतु सबसे अच्छी है)।

Once, Akbar was discussing about seasons with his courtiers in the royal garden. He asked them which season they found to be the best. One of the courtiers replied, "Sire, I think spring is the best season. Flowers bloom, trees grow new leaves, birds and bees hover around, and young animals are born." "But I think winter season is the best, for you could stay warm under your blankets all day long. You can eat lots of hot food made of fresh vegetables, said another courtier. Yet another spoke up, "But according to me, summer season is the best. We can drink cold beverages, enjoy a swim and walk on the beach enjoying a fresh breeze." Then Akbar asked Birbal the same question, who said, "The best season is when a man is well-fed because an empty stomach cannot enjoy any season." Akbar and the courtiers all agreed with Birbal's reply.
