I opened up the soundtrack expecting to bob my head to some serious bangers and, although that did in fact happen later, I was not expecting a breathtakingly beautiful song for the third track. I heard My Castle Town and immediately fell in love. After catching my balance from nearly falling off the treadmill (because yes I did stop walking for a second), I said, "oh my god I love this, I've gotta arrange this!" - and so arrange it I did!

There are a lot of parts that went into this arrangement. I'm very pleased with how all three of the marimba parts mixed together to recreate the warm sound from the original's piano intro. That four-mallet marimba accompaniment part was pretty fun to play! I decided to not feature the auxiliary as much this video since it kind of takes a backseat, but I can assure you it's still there in the audio (cymbal, triangle, tambourine, sleigh bells, and wind chimes). Special shoutout to the piano part because that is quite possibly the hardest piano part I've played for any arrangement since starting this channel. The melody in the right hand had some technical challenges, but I'm super duper proud of myself for being able to get through it! (While percussion is obviously my main instrument, my piano experiences are limited to a few college classes that were over five years ago; everything else piano is self-taught.)
