The prayer for the swift Rebirth of Kyabje Drubwang Dorzong Rinpoche
Composed by the month Dokham Shedrub Nyima

Bhagawan, Lord of immeasurable wisdom and compassion,
Kagyu lamas, treasury of blessings,
Peaceful and wrathful yidams, sources of siddhis,
And guardians and Dharma protectors, who bestow glorious activity,
Ocean of Victorious Ones, our refuges, grant excellent goodness!

The illusory dance of the Jetsun Lama’s three secrets,
So as to revert in disciples their attachment to permanence,
Disappeared for a while, and in the great space of dharmakaya,
Has indeed changed into the play of passing into nirvana.

Yet, seeing these times of deterioration of the teachings and beings,
When the Buddhadharma in general and the Drukpa teachings in particular
Are obscured by the dark rainy clouds of this decadent era,
Without postponing your bodhichitta commitment,
So as to again immensely increase the brilliance
Of the light of the three wheels of theory and practice,
Please swiftly manifest the sun of your supreme emanation.

Lord, maintaining the bodhichitta for an ocean of kalpas,
Through your loving compassion you have not abandoned us, sentient beings.
As the sublime protector and lord of the teachings and beings,
Whose overwhelming presence blazes with dazzling activity,
Ngawang Chokyi Nyima, please return swiftly!

Although absolute dharmata is primordially empty,
The unceasing interdependence is unfailing and true.
Through the blessings of the Three Jewels and the Three Roots
And the power of our fervent devotional supplication,
May these wishes be quickly accomplished as expressed.

This supplication for the swift rebirth of the glorious sublime Lama the eighth Dorzong Ngawang Chokyi Nyima, or the supreme Palden Dongyu Tenzin, was composed with fervent devotion by the one called ninth Dokham Shedrub Nyima, as it suddenly arose.

無量智愛自在薄伽梵, 加持藏庫噶舉上師暨, 成就普生本尊寂怒眾, 賜事業徳具誓護法尊
依處勝者海眾賜善祥, 尊者上師三密幻化舞, 迴遮所度執常貪戀故, 暫或隱沒法身大界中
縱已轉成寂滅消逝舞, 勝教總體個別竹巴教, 濁世黑暗烏雲障蔽之, 教眾此時衰敗垂鑒已
發心立誓於時莫逾越, 講修三大輪之光芒相, 復予甚大明亮造作者, 勝化作明大尊祈速返
怙主如您發心歷劫海, 我等眾生以愛莫捨棄

教眾依怙善妙救怙尊, 事業千光威采熾燃者, 語自在法太陽祈速返, 法性勝義本即縱為空
無礙緣起無欺真實暨, 三寶三根本之加持暨, 我等虔信專注祈請力, 隨所願求如是得成就
