I have had the stock suspension changed as it was underdeveloped by SAIC in China. I approached Vehicle Handling Solutions Ltd and they have developed a set of dampers from Bilstein to sort out the shortcomings of the stock dampers.

These are some comments by VHS Ltd after the installation & test drive
“ we were both pleased with the overall result. Rather than being overtly sporting, we think the level of control provided by the kit is more appropriate and confidence inspiring than the original dampers. There is also a better quality feel over scabby surfaces where the car now retains a level of poise. Most importantly (as a rear seat passenger), the body motion is now ‘centred’, with better control of heave and pitch – so much less prone to causing travel sickness.”
