This is another way of placing the winding coils on the magnetic core of the transformer that allow to gain more power obviously depending to copper section , number of coil wires , magnetic flux of the core and so on . Those two coil must be put in the same sense of magnetic flux . For parallel connection the sense of flat coil wiring is the same , for serial connection the sense of wiring must be opposite way for the coils . That permit the proper continuity of magnetic flux in the feromagnetic core of transformer.
