Das M’era Luna Festival auf dem Flugplatz Drispenstedt in Hildesheim ist jedes Jahr im August wieder Treffpunkt für die schwarze Szene aus ganz Europa, um ein friedliches und entspanntes Wochenende mit alten und neuen Freunden zu verbringen.

Every year, the M’era Luna Festival on the Drispenstedt airfield in Hildesheim is a meeting place for the Goth scene from all over Europe, in order to spend a peaceful and relaxed weekend with old and new friends. As well as the constantly top-class headliners, the main attractions for visitors from all over the world include the special atmosphere, the short distances, the medieval market or the extravagant fashion show.

An einem Freitag im August wurde es dunkel. Die schönste Art von Nacht senkte sich über den Flugplatz Hildesheim Drispenstedt herab als tausende Suchende zu tausenden Findenden wurden. Wie 25.000 Partikel der Finsternis, die sich zu dem schwarzen Gewebe eines dunklen Universums verbinden, um so zu sein, wie sie geschaffen wurden – frei, einzigartig, wundervoll.
Jedes Jahr erhebt sich das M’era Luna für drei Tage aus der Asche einer Welt, die nicht bereit ist oder unwillig zu verstehen und schillert in allen Facetten der Dunkelheit, um ein Zeichen zu setzen: wir sind hier! Wir sind nicht wie ihr! Wir sind frei! Wir sind das M’era Luna! Und das sieht dann so aus...

It got dark on a Friday in August. The most beautiful kind of night descended on the airfield Hildesheim Drispenstedt as thousands of seekers became thousands of finders. Like 25,000 particles of darkness that connect to the black fabric of a dark universe to be as they were created - free, unique, wonderful.
Each year, for three days, M'era Luna rises from the ashes of a world that is unwilling or not able to understand and dazzles in all facets of darkness to signal that we are here! We are not like you! We are free! We are M'era Luna! And that looks like this...
