Sleek Low Bun Tutorial on Natural Hair

Hey Beautiful Souls! In this video i will show you how I tame my thick natural hair into a SLEEK LOW BUN.
This sleek low bun is a great low maintenance protective style that can last you until your next wash day.

STEPS & PRODUCTS USED

start off on freshly washed hair
Part your hair down the middle in half into 2 large sections
Apply a dime size amount of JAMAICAN BLACK CASTOR OIL (no salt) to each section
Follow that up with a quarter size amount of CANTU SHEA BUTTER LEAVE IN CONDITIONER
Detangle your hair from end to root
Use your RAT TAIL COMB and create your center parting
Part the front of your hair from ear to ear and secure each section with a hair comb
Free part the remaining back section of your hair into smaller quadrants
*WORKING IN SMALL QUADRANTS AT A TIME ENSURES THE SLEEKEST RESULTS*
Spray your hair with water
Apply generous amount of ECOSTYLER GEL only to roots of each back quadrant and detangle with DENMAN BRUSH and WIDE TOOTH COMB
Secure hair back and work on front 2 quadrants
Generously spray front two sections with water and apply GORILLA SNOT GEL to roots of hair only
Detangle with DENMAN BRUSH
Begin to sleek hair back into a ponytail with a HARD BRUSH
Use your palm as a guide to ensure your hair is smooth
Secure hair in place with head band
* Add more gel to front and sides of hair if necessary

NOW BEGIN TO WORK ON ENDS OF PONYTAIL
Split end of ponytail into 2
Generously spray each section with water and apply generous amount of Ecostyler gel
Detangle and form your bun
Using the sides of your palm or 2 fingers as a guide, tuck and roll the ends of your hair underneath your hand and secure with LARGE BOBBY PINS
Spray hair with PANTENE PRO V EXTRA FIRM HOLDING SPRAY
Use ends of rat tail comb to sleek any stray away hair strands
* secure sides of hair with 2 SMALL BOBBY PINS (optional)
Apply SATIN HEAD SCARF for 10 minutes
Remove satin head scarf
Spray OGX HEALING DRY ARGAN OIL for sheen
Add finishing touches/ sleek down baby hairs
