Whichever way you choose to spin it, the 90s were a fantastic time for television - and the cream of the crop, for horror fans in particular - was Joss Whedon’s weird and wonderful world of Buffy the Vampire Slayer - because, well - we don’t like to talk about the 1992 movie. Thankfully for us though, Whedon took his initial fictional spark, and went on to create 7 seasons of some of the darkest and most macabre content on television. For fans of Sunnydale, there is a colossal amount of mythology to dive through, but some of the series best big bad monsters - are the horrific hosts of demons that Buffy and the Scooby Gang had to battle.
