Directed by Tony To, this episode features Eion Bailey as Webster and Colin Hanks as Lieutenant Jones as Easy Company heads into Haguenau, nearing the end of the war.
I really liked this shift in perspective. Seeing Webster return to the unit and try to fit back in after missing Bastogne was fascinating, and it added so much emotional depth. Colin Hanks was great as the inexperienced but determined Jones. The final patrol was tense and beautifully shot, and I loved seeing both characters grow and earn their place among the veterans. The tone of this episode felt like a deep breath before the end, and it was handled perfectly.
