Seeing if there's any life in my example of Tektronix's legendary 7104, said to be the fastest general-purpose analogue scope ever made.
It has a full 1GHz bandwidth and, to make fast, infrequent signals visible, it has an image intensifier built right in to the CRT - Tek's "Micro channel plate" technology.
It may be a tour de force of physics and engineering, but it's been sitting in my attic for 3 years and who knows what happened to it before that. Will it work?
