Drakon Paultons Park Discussion - Why has it proven Controversial?

Back in May 2025, Paultons Park unveiled Valgard, a new Vikings inspired area set to open for 2026, with a further expansion planned for 2027. Notably, this will see the renaming of their Gerstlauer Bobsled known as Cobra into Raven and the addition of a new Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter known as Drakon; unlike existing roller coasters at the park, Drakon will other a highly thrilling experience featuring multiple inversions! While its announcement has been received positively by many enthusiasts, others have expressed various concerns and believe an alternative coaster model may have been more appropriate. Join me as I dissect everything we currently know about Drakon, discuss the concerns that have been raised and share my overall verdict on whether it will be a good addition for the park.
