As night falls across Epic Universe, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic transforms into a spellbinding realm of light and shadow. Glowing wand signs, flickering magical windows, and soft golden light pouring from enchanted cafés bring the Rue Cachée to life after dark.

Our walkthrough takes you through every magical alleyway in the heart of the Parisian wizarding world, as the ambient charm of 1920s France inspired by the Fantastic Beast movies, meets the mystery of the Ministry of Magic deep below London.

Rue Cachée (Hidden Road), is similar in spirit to the British Diagon Alley and serves as the entrance to this immersive land. By night, the street feels even more magical as guests encounter softly illuminated wand shops, glowing spell effects, enchanted storefronts, and the quiet hum of magic in the air. The glowing entrance to Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry beckons beneath a façade alive with magical movement and shadowy details.

This headlining dark ride sends guests through a Floo Network fireplace from Paris into the Ministry of Magic following the events of the Wizarding War. Inside, Dolores Umbridge is on trial, but escapes into the Ministry's darkest chambers. Guests race alongside Harry, Ron, Hermione, and the house-elf Higgledy through secret courts, archives, and the Department of Mysteries.

The nearby Le Cirque Arcanus theatre comes alive with haunting light projections and stage effects. This full-scale live show based on the Fantastic Beasts saga features magical creatures, illusions, puppetry, and newly filmed sequences starring Newt Scamander, portrayed by Eddie Redmayne.

Guests can cast spells at night using interactive wands, which light up and vibrate when spells are performed at windows and magical props. Dining options glow with magical signage and soft candlelight: Bar Moonshine offers a warm magical pub atmosphere, Café L’air De La Sirène is lit with soft pastels and magical flourishes, and Le Gobelet Noir becomes even more mysterious with its gothic glow.

The Ministry of Magic land is part of the ever-expanding Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which first opened at Universal Orlando in 2010 with Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure and later expanded with Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida.

Inspired by J.K. Rowling’s bestselling novels and the blockbuster Harry Potter film series, the world of witches and wizards has become one of Universal’s most celebrated properties. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic also draws from the Fantastic Beasts spin-off films, which explore the magical world of Paris and New York. Across books, films, and theme parks, the Wizarding World continues to enchant global audiences with its rich characters, immersive environments, and spell-driven stories.

The Wizarding World – Ministry of Magic is one of four major themed lands at Epic Universe, along with Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe, all connected by the central hub of Celestial Park. .

Epic Universe is the fourth theme park at Universal Orlando Resort, joining Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay.
