In this conversation with Dr. Trudy Bers, host Gianina Baker asks about the best way to relate the importance of program review to faculty, how to get faculty engaged in the program assessment process and how to deal with faculty assessment teams who may be unsure of what they are doing.
Dr. Bers is the president of The Bers Group, an educational consulting organization. She was formerly the executive director of research, curriculum, and planning at Oakton Community College in Des Plaines, Illinois, and has coached more than 20 ATD Network colleges. In addition, she is a mentor for the Higher Learning Commission Student Success Academy and a faculty member in the doctor of management in community college leadership program at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
