I can't really meme for the description even though I wanna, but I think this is literally the only stuff I like from the score for either movies. I'm a big Holkenborg fan, but his score for either movies wasn't for me and I didn't really enjoy them that much or find any highlights in terms of the themes and such. But Robotnik's theme is actually one I enjoy and like very much despite it not being used NEARLY as much as I wish it was. It sounds very villain-y and Saturday morning cartoon-like, with the use of low brass bursts (or maybe its a bassoon or oboe, I'm unsure) to sound very bumbling yet militant. The theme is very diverse in how its used, from bumbling, dorky variations, to loud, militant, tense versions, and in the second movie blares in sadly short lived, yet powerful and domineering orchestral crescendoes and bursts. It's a shame it wasn't used more, because I think it's a hidden gem in a combo of film scores I'm personally not into.
