Delicate - The very best of Patrick O'Hearn

This is an unofficial compilation with some of the most remarkable tracks by amazing instrumental bass player Patrick O'Hearn. After his participation is bands like Missing Persons and Group 87 and being the luxury bassist for several Frank Zappa's albums and live performances, Patrick begun a solo career which comprised stellar collaborations by old mates of his former bands, namely Mark Isham, Terry Bozzio, Peter Maunu, weaving a stunningly haunting string of albums than melded the most up-to-date electronic sounds with jazz and world music flavourings. The second half of the eighties' decade view his more dynamic and pop approach, while in the nineties he took a further atmospheric and trancey stance helped with tribal percussions and mysterious and lush synths and acoustic touches.

I developed this album with an LP kind of shaping, with the albums segued into the next one but with a stop in the middle, and 'The Stroll' aiming to be track 1 of the side B of the album.
