77th Year of Indian Army Victory Marked as Youm-e-Fateh Celebrated in Kargil
Kargil, November 23, 2025: The 77th year of the Indian Army’s historic victory in Kargil, observed as Youm-e-Fateh, was celebrated with great patriotic enthusiasm today at Khree Sultan Chow Sports Stadium Biamathang.
Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil, attended the event as the Chief Guest. Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Senior Superintendent of Police Kargil, Brigadier Joshi of 121 Infantry Brigade, and several senior civil and military officials were also present.
The celebration began with march past by Ladakh Police and school contingents, during which the CEC Kargil took the salute. Students from various schools also presented colourful cultural programmes, during to the event.
As part of the day’s activities, a medical camp was set up, where attendees were provided free health check-ups and medicines.
The event concluded with the distribution of prizes to Veer Naris and school children, honouring their participation and contributions.
