DIY Pole Barn Construction #10: Setting Posts & Pouring Concrete With John Deere 5065E

In this video we get all of the posts set for our 40x60 pole barn. We poured concrete "biscuits" (AKA- footers) in each hole when we drilled them. Because the footers were already poured, it made it extremely easy to place the posts into each hole. We came up with a process that worked well for us, but you can do it however you want. We used our John Deere tractor to lift and place the poles in each hole with our homemade 3 pt attachment for the front of the tractor. It worked so well for the job! This is how we did it- we would put a few posts in the ground and get them perfectly placed, then poured concrete in those few post holes. Then we would do a few more posts and so on. It is hard to believe that we are moving so fast with this barn! It is amazing and we are making so much progress! All of the posts are now set and it looks incredible!
