They Said This Bag Was Handmade… So I Tested It the Crochet Way! 🧵

Long long ago… I used to be a bag seller in Oman! 👜
I used to convince people to buy my “trendy handmade bags” — but not many did 😅 So, a few of those bags stayed with me till today.

One of those bags became the star of this video! The wholesaler told me it was handmade, but was it really? 🤔

So I decided to test it… the Visalya way! 😎

Welcome to Visalya reKreates – Part 2!
This time, I tried to recreate that so-called handmade bag entirely by crochet. Instead of the original green, I chose my own favorite colors 💚💛

First, I made long cords using a cord knitting machine, then tried to form spirals for the front and back frames. I tried machine stitching, hand stitching… nothing worked 😭 Finally, gluing the cords onto cloth and stitching between them by hand did the trick!

The slings are detachable, the base is handmade, and of course, I added 9 cute crochet puff flowers — just like the original bag 🌼
Then, finished it off with a zipper and tada — the recreated bag is ready! 👜✨

So… how close is it to the original one? 😏
