Primeval ran it's five-season run from 2007 to 2011 and to most people, that’s it. But Prehistoric creatures appearing at random in the modern day - the storytelling possibilities there are ENDLESS and - I standby, there is no point sitting on a license like that, the show begs for some kind of reboot or continuation. Following the tracks of all great sci-fi shows before it, Primeval had a little-known series of novels published! It consists of four entries, published by Titan Books. Shadow of the Jaguar, The Lost Island, Extinction Event and Fire and Water, published during the show's third season on air, but taking place continuity-wise all over the timeline. They also had rereleases with variant covers during the promotional material for Series 4. If I had to give short reviews for each of them?
