We spend a week exploring ocean side of K'gari including the crazy challenge of towing a 1.6t camper trailer through the notorious Ngkala Rocks bypass track. Did we make it through to Sandy Cape? You'll have to watch and find out ;-)
Along the way we visit the SS Maheno wreck, Orchid Beach, Yidney rocks and many of Fraser's iconic eastern beaches, towing the X3 with a 2019 Toyota LandCruiser 200 series and accompanied by a Nissan GU Patrol that got to serve recovery duties a couple of times...
Speaking of recoveries, all of the gear we used was either VRS (Vehicle Recovery Systems) or Sabre recovery equipment that I purchased from www.locked4x4.com.au.
