Goyo Monteros choreography „Vasos Comunicantes (Communicating Vessels) deals with a similarly paradox and cross-over prolific issue than the correspondent Surrealistic work by André Breton. The bodies of the dancers react within complete abstraction to the vibrations, impulse and structures of Bachs compositions.
Movements of music and dance communicate with each other, react to each other, recharging and mirroring each other without giving up or loosing their own laws of form.
The choreography is structured by the strict formal compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach, partly transcribed for violin, piano and guitar, performed live on stage.
