Codebasics Power BI SQL | AtliQ Hardware Real-World Data Analytics Project

In this video, I’ll present my Data Analytics Project on AtliQ Hardwares, created as part of the ‪@codebasics‬ Resume Project Challenge. This project demonstrates how real-world business problems can be solved using SQL and Power BI.

AtliQ Hardware is a leading manufacturer of computer hardware in India and abroad. Despite its scale, the company struggles to make timely, data-driven decisions. To strengthen their data analytics team, the management plans to hire junior analysts. Tony Sharma, Head of Data Analytics, organizes a SQL Challenge to evaluate applicants on both technical and soft skills.

🔍 Key Learnings from the Project:

SQL Syntax & Practice: Regular practice improved my SQL skills. I learned CTEs, window functions, and analytical techniques to accurately validate queried results.

Queries to Visuals: Learned how to convert SQL query outputs into visual representations that clearly convey business insights.

Presentation Skills: Enhanced my ability to present data findings effectively, using dashboards and visuals to tell a compelling story.

🧠 Key Tools & Skills Used:

· MySQL - Concepts like Joins, CTEs, Subqueries, Window functions, Numeric functions, Date functions, etc.
· PowerBI - Dax and visuals like Sunburst Chart, Bar Chart, Matrix, Line Chart, Maps, Donut Chart, etc.
· Canva - To design visually appealing and well-structured slides for clear communication.
· InShot - To edit and compile the slides into a smooth, professional video presentation.

📊 Project Outcome:

The project provided actionable insights into AtliQ Hardware’s top-performing products, sales trends, and profitability, helping the management make data-driven decisions. Using SQL and Power BI, I created interactive dashboards and visualizations that clearly communicated key business metrics and suggested strategies to boost sales and customer engagement.
