Open Source TTS Roundup: First Look at Kokoro, Fish, Llasa & Spark (April 2025)

Phew, keeping up with the rapid pace of open-source TTS development is a workout! 😉 In this video, I'm excited to share my initial impressions of some fascinating new projects that have caught my eye recently: Kokoro TTS, Fish TTS, Llasa Speech, and Spark TTS.

This is my first look at these promising open-source text-to-speech systems for April 2025. I'll be trying to get a feel for what they offer and hopefully sharing some audio snippets with you.
