These Sea Caves at Seaham were formed as a result of natural coastal erosion and the weathering of the cliffs. The array of intriguing rock formations and passages can feel eerie when walking through them.
Follow a journey through these caves and a flight out to the Sandpiper Rig, which is a modular platform operated by Lankelma.
It can be jacked up onto its legs to perform work in shallow waters, and it can conduct geotechnical and geophysical surveys, including the installation of subsea infrastructure.
On the return flight, watch as the waves tumble towards driftwood on the shoreline.
