I grew taro.
I gave them a little fertilizer at the beginning and in the middle.
When they grew big, I covered their roots with soil.
I planted them in spring and harvested them before winter.
If I had planted them earlier, they might have grown even bigger.
The roots were muddy and hard to wash.
