Did you know that nearly 1 in 3 women worldwide, an estimated 840 million women, have experienced physical and/or sexual violence by a partner or another perpetrator in their lifetime (WHO 2025)?
In 2023 alone, around 51,100 women and girls were killed by intimate partners or family members, roughly 140 lives lost every day because of gender based violence (UNODC 2024).
In this episode, Colette Martin will share on her own experiences and how she survived and how she found the courage to talk about what it takes to rebuild, heal, and find strength again. She helps us understand why breaking the cycle matters for each of us.
