I came home from work the other day and was talking to my son. He pulled this coin out of his pocket and started messing with it. I asked to see it. It was a coin that I got while I was in the Oklahoma Army National Guard. I retired with 22 years in service with 2 deployments to Iraq. It also sent me to Trinadad/Tobago, Belize, and Germany to build stuff. I was a carpentry/masonry specialist and a heavy equipment operator for the last 5 years while I was in. While on deployments, I also got to see Shannon, Ireland, Kuwait, Quatar, and Hungary. I decided then that I needed to cast a couple coins and I had this brass lying around. And the rest is history.
