On this episode I discuss the Rolex bubble and how one of my favorite YouTubers, Adrian of Bark & Jack stirred up a bit of a hornet's nest on his channel with a recent episode where he claimed the bubble might be bursting. I also discuss an amazing auction held in Hong Kong by Phillips Auctions. The auction rendered some amazing results, especially for a remarkable 1959 Rolex 5512 which hammered for $251,875 USD. I also discuss a trio of "nuevo vintage" five digit Rolex sports models, a pair of 16600 Sea Dwellers and a 114270 Explorer. All three hammered above estimate at prices well above average retail here in the United States.
