Blasphemous (PC) - Final Boss and True Ending

Time to blaspheme.

In anticipation for Blasphemous 2!

This was done in NG+ (stronger enemies), with Penitence of True Guilt (Bile Flasks recover Fervour instead of life; dying removes all your money and minimizes Fervour bar to the limit).

To reach this ending, you must do a series of steps first.
-Find Pertetva's grave and get the Incomplete Scapular before facing Esdras on the bridge;
-After facing Esdras, go to the new area in Brotherhood of Silent Sorrows and talk to him to get the Key Grown From Twisted Wood;
-Fight the new bosses Isidora (get at least 20 bones for the Ossuary), and Sierpes (new area Mourning and Havoc) to get two new key items;
-After helping Diosdado in Library of Negated Words, talk to him again to unlock a door to a new passage. Give the key items to the NPC to get the ultimate Mea Culpa heart;
-Before fighting Crisanta in the rooftops, make sure you equip the Mea Culpa heart. Defeat her (there will be a new, 3rd phase);
-Go back to where Esdras was and get the Holy Wound of Abnegation;
-Get the Cvstodia of Sin as normal for the Ending A.

Anyways, Escribar here has multiple boss battles. First is his human (?) form. He'll teleport around and summon a barrier; the barrier will tell which spell he'll use by its color. Orange for fireballs from the sky aimed at your position, green for poison balls raining from the sky that can be deflected by swinging your sword, purple for horizontal laser beams that can be ducked and jumped over, and blue for lightning summoned from the sky and strong wind pushing you away from him. Attack him when he's not using a barrier.

Second fight, he'll be inside that huge iron statue thing. To make him vulnerable, you must destroy his sword that will keep flying around and either swinging at you or crash down on the ground to cause ground explosions to both sides. Destroying his sword will open his face plate and you can attack him; after a while the sword will revive and do it again.
He can attack much in the same way by summoning colored glyphs that tells you which attack he'll use. Orange for a LOT of fireballs coming from the sky aimed at you, green for poison balls raining from the sky you can deflect, purple for either some laser beams exploding from the sky in a star shape or massive laser beams from the ground that will try to cover the whole screen in a pattern, and blue which is either lightning streaks that will briefly sparkle in your position before blasting you, or a big "corridor" of lightning.

These two fights aren't very tough. Make sure you have each of the elemental defensive items to reduce incoming damage. Under True Guilt, prayers are extremely potent because you can quickly refill your fervour for more use. Debla of the Lights is particularly strong because it does decent damage and will also make you invincible momentarily. If you need healing, use Saeta Dolorosa (but you'll need to keep hitting him with your sword or with sword beams). Pelican Effigy gives you invincibility while drinking flasks. Knot of Hair boosts your sword damage, the wheel improves your mobility, coagulated ink boosts the damage of prayers, and the toe reduces dodge cooldown.

Once the two phases are done, you'll get the final fight - it's kind of an extended cutscene where, if you die, you'll be back to the start of the fight over and over, so you can eventually win. All of your beads and prayer are removed for this fight and can't be reequipped, so be aware. For attacks, he won't really give tells anymore, but you can start preempting them once you fight him for a while - the fireballs will always come from the left side of the screen, and he will move a bit before doing the green fireballs. When Crisanta appears, make sure you are ducking behind her or he'll blast you with a huge laser beam. When he's nearly dying he'll go to the middle of the screen and start shooting A LOT of purple fireballs that are sorta hard to dodge, but if you've been attacking him a lot, you might skip it entirely. Be careful with the holes on the ground. And that's about it.
