What are “situations”? — Long Explanation

“Situations” are short descriptions of moments, events, or scenes that a person can experience or imagine.
A situation is basically a snapshot of something happening right now.

They can be:

normal

strange

emotional

scary

intense

disturbing

chaotic

psychological


Each situation shows one moment that creates a reaction in the reader.

When you create disturbing situations, you are inventing scenes that are:

shocking

uncomfortable

emotionally heavy

frightening

tragic

tense

dark

extremely psychological


They work like micro-stories, small scenes that don’t need a full plot.

How is a situation written?
