Aviation museums in the Middle East are few and far between, but there are some to be found and even one near the ultra-modern city of Dubai. Housing a collection of mostly Gulf Aviation civilian airliners, the museum is an interesting showcase of aircraft that served this regional airline.
Whilst there are not too many aircraft on show here, one other reason to visit is that the museum is housed within the old Sharjah airstrip which has been restored.
