Toffee banana is a classic Chinese dessert. Slices of banana are battered and deep-fried, then coated with caramel but this is very carefull process because the stage of suger caramel is wont be for longer it make the dish deliciously and crisp. You could also try this recipe with other fruit, such as apple or pineapple and have it with ice cream.

Bananas 2n
Sugar 150 g
Sesame seeds 1 tbs
Corn flour 1 cu
All purpose flour 1 cu
Oil for deep fry 3 cu
Baking powder ¼ TSP




To make the batter whisk together equal quantity of corn flour, and all purpose flour, then add the water and mix until smooth.

Cut the bananas in to roundels, and dip it in the batter and deep fry the bananas.

For caramel

Take a pan add sugar, little water cook for medium heat until caramel forms, remove from the heat then working quickly and one at a time, add the fried bananas to the caramel and turn to coat, drop into ice water to set the caramel. Drain immediately then sprinkle with sesame seeds, serve with ice-cream.
