A customer in a brothel can be charged under the Immoral Traffic Prevention Act 1956 the Kerala High Court ruled on December 21 2023

In doing so Justice P G Ajithkumar observed that a consumercomes within the purview of Section 5 of the 1956 Act which punishes those who procure induce or  take people for prostitution
