After several failed attempts, I finally get to Drayton Manor. The park first opened in 1949 on the former grounds of Drayton Manor before expanding into the present attraction it is today. 40 different rides can be found here including a designated area called Thomas Land.
The park is home to the UKs only stand up rollercoaster, Shockwave, and unbeknown to me at the time, it had being announced earlier in the week that the unique G-Force 'coaster was to shut for good at the end of the season and would remain closed until then.
Also at the attraction is a small zoo housing some great animals, that are included in this vlog.
Please find reviews of all the rides at the park including the Vekoma Junior Boomerang, Accelarator, and the two other junior rollercoasters and the array of flat rides at DMTP. Like many of the smaller parks I,ve visited, Drayton is very friendly and well worth a visit.
Unfortunately, the weather was against me so apoligies for any water on the lens during filming.
