City of Windhoek spokesperson Lydia Amutenya has cautioned members of the public against vandalising and removing road divider rails, warning that such actions significantly increase the risk of road accidents.
This follows reports of people removing the rails and crossing roads at undesignated points, creating dangerous shortcuts that have resulted in pedestrians being knocked down in Windhoek.
